I was asked to contribute to an album of Elvis covers that was being released for a charity. I got a scratch band together including a couple of the boys from EMF, Pam Hogg on vocal duties and Tud Tudgay from Men’s Wear on pots and pans. We recorded in Toe Rag studios when it was still in Curtain Road using an original 60s valve EMI desk from Abbey Road.
I brought in two 7″ singles, Teddy Bear and Anarchy in the UK and played them to the band; this was the outcome.
